New Business Cards from Moo

Orracle Media Business Cards

I'm excited that I finally got my new business cards from Moo Cards! It's been a while since I had cards, and I had to start from scratch, as I lost the template for the previous version of cards I used to create Paige's cards.

This time, instead of InstaPrint, I decided to give Moo a try after my friend, Andy Traub got his from there. I love the options they have available - the different paper options, and all the different products they have.

Weekend Web Roundup - Facebook IPO Edition

Welcome to the weekend! Just in case you've been living under a rock and off the grid, and don't know, Facebook issued their IPO yesterday, and in comparison to some other notable IPOs, wasn't really all that exciting. Except that it made Facebook, its founders and stakeholders a LOT of money. A lot.

Friday Inspiration - Defeating Goliath - Small Biz Wins Big

Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the size of the competition in your market and the "big boys" who seem to be able to call all the shots? Me too.

This is an amazing story about a single mom with a small business, striving to make things happen, and takes on the industry giant, Coca Cola, head to head, and wins.

She was just about to make an incredible breatkthrough in to a new market when Coca Cola came in to steal her victory. But she built a solid, loyal customer base who rallied to her defense, and she was able to defeat Coke!

What Questions Do YOU Have?

What questions do you have about your website or websites in general? What kinds of things would you like to see on this blog? What do you struggle with? This blog, among other things, is about being a resource for people looking for help with their website, and I want to make sure that it's covering the things that you will find helpful.

New Project Launch! Kaffenate Financial Education

Kaffenate Custom Website Design

Orracle Media has just launched another new site - this time for Kaffenate Financial Education.  What a pleasure it was to work with Kristiann on this project!

Kristiann has a fantastic name for her business and we wanted to emphasize the coffee house feel that the name brings with warm, inviting colors and textures. We focused in on leathery, tones, and colors that you would likely see in a coffee shop to give it a warm inviting feel.

Yes! I'm catching up! I've got a long list of things that I still want to add, but I'm getting there.

A website is never really done. Yes, you get enough stuff done that you're ready to publish it and take it live, but there is usually something else that you want to do or add. I'm no different. This new redesign was launched a few months back, and from the moment I did it, I new there were still a lot of things that I wanted to do.

New Project Launch! Bike Pikes Peak Mountain Bike Tours

New Project Launch - Bike Pikes Peak

I'm very excited to announce a new site that was just recently completed and launched - Pikes Peak Mountain Bike Tours! This site was a ton of fun to work on. Dylan Scott has got a phenomenal business conducting bike tours on Pikes Peak, and my only regret is that I've not had a chance myself to go on one of these tours yet!

We took his site from being a fairly basic site that didn't really do a whole lot for him and his business, to something much more interactive and useful. We built this site on Wordpress using the Genesis framework and built built a fantastic site for him that will grow with his business.

Dylan has a new blog where you can learn more about what's going on in outdoor life in Colorado and his adventures leading the tours for his business. It's a much more personal site and there is more great stuff to come for the site for sure. We've already got plans for new things we'll be doing and new things to expand in to.

Monday Inspiration - Make it Count

Monday Inspiration - Make it Count

Sometimes you just need a reminder that you don't want to leave anything on the table when you're done. You don't want to say "I should have done..." or "I wish I would have ..."

This video is by a guy who sought out to "make it count" and I think it's a great piece of inspiration. He travels around the world on the budget Nike gave him to create a video about making it count and this is what he did with the money.

It took them 10 days to go through the money, but they made it around the world. What a cool adventure!

Weekend Web Roundup - New Stuff Edition

Weekend Web Roundup - New Stuff Edition

This week's web roundup was one of finding a lot of new things to try. I'm always searching for ways to get better and run more efficiently and I think I may have found a good one in Workflowy. Google+ continues to draw skeptical reviews due to its low adoption rate.

How to Set up Gmail to Work with Multiple Accounts

How to Set up Gmail to Work with Multiple Accounts

Getting set up with Gmail is a simple process and can be done in under 10 minutes. There are numerous benefits to using Gmail to handle your email that include, web accessibility and being able to access your account from multiple locations and keep your inbox intact. But did you know you can also set up your Gmail account to send and receive emails from your other accounts?

I've got Gmail set up to handle all of my various email accounts in one place. Previously I had to use Outlook, or Thunderbird to be able to manage multiple accounts in one place, but it wasn't reconciled between computers and it was a mess on any other computer other than my main computer.

This means that I can send and receive emails from all of my different accounts and keep it all consolidated in one place that is accessible wherever I go.

Here is how you can use Gmail to manage multiple email accounts.
